Founded in 2026, Lightning Shadow Crossroads exists to help people recognize, reclaim, and live from their own sovereign voice and authority; a place where shadow is faced, integrated, and transformed into strength.
I am Michael Grayson; a nurse turned author, survivor of a rare esophageal cancer, and a man shaped by loss, resilience, and sustained introspection. Through story, reflection, and lived experience, I share a path toward responsibility, meaning, and hope for those who are willing to confront their shadows and step forward with integrity.
Blades of Resurrection
The surgery for esophageal cancer was bar none, the most difficult experience of my entire life. It is a brutal surgery that involves removing two-thirds of the esophagus and one-third of the stomach, and stitching them back together. I was contending with the heaviness and the post traumatic stress of my hospitalization and recovery, I entered an intense state of expanding spirtuality, meditation, and retrospection prior to returning to my nursing career
One night, while in a soul wound meditation, I had a vision; I was in another lifetime where I was struck with a sword through my right lung, and the sword pierced my esophagus and abdomen ending that life
The form of cancer I had is exceedingly rare, only one in two million people are ever diagnosed. I then hypothesized an insight, what if this cancer was a soul wound from another life time?
This is how the concept of Blades of Resurrection was born. The sword in the past, the scalpel in the present, Blades of Resurrection gave me a second chance in life. Overcoming a life of bilateral parental demise, poverty, my own psyche, and ultimately cancer itself has inspired me to share this account with you.
I have a full handwritten memoir completed and am in progress of typing it into the digital realm. I anticipate publication in Fall 2026. I would honor for you to have an account of my story
